Heads up - cheap coleman fuel at GSF

Attention all liquid fuel stove owners - German and Swedish car parts are selling 5 litres of brake cleaner for £7 or so. Its Naptha - a.k.a Coleman fuel, but at a fifth of the cost. Are Coleman taking the proverbial? Me thinks so.

Can anyone ID this car boot sale army ruck sack please?

Got a nice old pack at car boot sale today for a couple of quid. Its made of heavy waxed(?) canvas, two rear pockets, no side pockets and a strange sort of banana side profile to it where the lower section sticks out away from wearer. Here's some pics:

Where in London / south-east can I try on boots in extra width fitting?

I have wide feet and as a result I'm reluctant to order boots online. Does anyone know of an outdoor store thats likely to stock walking boots in various width fittings? Last boots I bought are a a lovely pair of Zamberlans for £50 at TK Maxx(!). They're excellent boots and ?nearly? fit but...

Ludicrous Swiss Army Knife - for real?

Can't work out if this is a serious item by SAK for use around the house or just some weird promotional item. The reviews are damn funny, worth a read: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wenger-Swiss-Army-Giant-Knife/dp/B000R0JDSI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=kitchen&qid=1298328078&sr=8-1

    'interesting' definition of bushcraft

This gave me a chuckle. From a Song of the Paddle thread discussing merits of campcraft vs bushcraft. "BUSHCRAFT: Basically a marketing catch word that takes little bits of each of the above and attempts to convince people that survival is fun or that it can be done over a weekend. It could...
