I have a spare spoon knife that is leaving home and going to anyone who would like to carve a spoon but either cant justify buying a spoon knife or is a newbie just wishing to have a go.

I received a new blade for a crook knife in the post from Nic. (http://www.nicwestermann.co.uk/)
It was eagerly anticipated as it was a longer curve type blade in high carbon steel.
It was sharp enough on arrival to carve a bowl in a piece of green lime just by gripping the tang.

Here is a Shing Bushbaby I handled for a BCUK member.IMHO it is a perfect bushcraft blade at 3" long.(I prefere shorter blades)It has a matching firesteel and also a matching SAK which I re-handled last year.I believe it is currently on its way to Singtech for its sheath.
