hi under the scout assocaition i often teach voluntary bushcraft to explorers and scouts. i have been asked if i could teach / train outdoors skills to some school kids what insurance and were from ? (mods) if this isnt allowed then remove please or p.m details so no company names appear thanks?
Many years ago as a young Under keeper on a estate in hertfordshire i used to trap Glis glis (edible doormouuse) for the Top House as anyone eaten these if so how did they taste and can you still trap these and eat them?
Also are they still only found the south of england?
In the scout district we have a district camp site and a scout group site, they want to hand this back to the district. its had a bit of vandalism so first thing first is to remove two old portkabins which is planned for the next couple of weeks.
next job is to remove a load of rubble or bury...
Over the last couple of years i seem to be finding alot more sets occupied by both foxes and badgers at the same time?

I washed my hands five years ago and my right shoulder went into involantary dislocation. 8 hour s of op later and i can use it to a fashion ( i am right handed ) its now shorter than my left and i have less moveabilty than most!
I can bowdrill but i then have to hang from a tree to straighten...
My wife wants to buy a new jacket so she has been searching for a new goretex jacket But there is a relative new fabric on the streets EVENT humm Lowe alpine and crag hoppers have taken it on board any one know anything about this?

hi we have just returned from a fantastic time in new zealand,
One thing we didnt consider before we went was bio security and boy is nz hot on it.
But what a fantastic thing they have to many non native plants and animals already. so if you go the dogs at the airport will smell out any food...
