Im trying to cut up some old propane & butane gas cylinders and i need to get the valve off to flush it out - they dont want to budge - anybody done this before can give me some advice?
Do they just unscrew conventionally or is there a trick, reverse thread super glue or some such?
Have to agree with sleeping in wool blankets - i'm starting to dislike doss bags for anything but the coldest weather. two wool plankets are cosy quiet and not sweaty & clammy.

Its interesting to see that he uses tools that you dont see in tandy catalogues. I have seen the edge pattern cutters in antique/junk shops and walked by them as i didnt understand how to use them - kicking myself now of course.

Its a two week safari holiday in the Ngorogoro and Kilimanjaro - my GP has suggested that we try mefloquine first and if we dont get on then we try doxycycline second and Malarone
Its a family holiday so i wont find myself alone...
Planning a trip to tanzania - ive been reccommended mefloquine and doxycycline. Mefloquine is the most effective but seems to have some dodgy side effects - not sure which way to go
Does anybody have experience of these drugs one way or the other
