    Venus and Jupiter….worth watching the sky tonight

    There was a wonderful view of this here. I sat atop a hill with the sunset before me, the full moon rising at my back and then they appeared in the still quite light sky about WNW. Venus was very bright.

    I've always found the Polish shelter more useful as a poncho than a tipi.

    I have a Tentipi 7. It will sleep four adults comfortably enough but there is not much room to spare. I would say it is enough for your needs and would take a stove too. A nice compromise between manageable and reasonably roomy. The 9 really is a big beast.

    As Didicoy says, it's pretty straightforward. Easier with two people, one inside to fit it and the other outside to hold onto the exterior part of the flashing.

    Like Mesquite, I removed the first tick of the year from my dog last week. The O'Tom twister made it straightforward, removing the whole of the tick without compressing the stomach.
