It could be some form of fence wire tensioner:confused:
The jaws on left clamping near the end of the fence wire and another piece wound round the drum on the right, pulling them together so they could be be joined.
Also gives a measurement of the tension:confused:
I sawdad today. He doesn't have any and doesn't really think anyone local would have either:(
If he does happen across something he will let me know.
Sorry...
I was just wondering :o, he's been doing stuff about Rogue tools recently and they are made from these sort of things.
I don't think dad will have any on our farm, but I can ask him to ask around if you would like.
Cheers

After reading Stews thread about plates I'm possibly interested in getting a Kupilka one.
I've searched and searched but can only find the same spiel about volume and weight. Could anyone tell me how wide the plate is (inner edge to inner edge) and how deep? I can't seem to find this info...
Last night I somehow managed to have a bit of 40 year old garden wire (you know the stuff that is used for plants to climb up) go ping and impale itself through my little finger

My wife just showed me this http://www.instructables.com/id/Vader-Gas-Bottle-Log-Burner/
I was wondering if anyone on here could make one for me and how much it would cost?
I have no welder and haven't welded anything since school age.
It would be a present for a geek mate of mine. I think he...
Mine is over 10 years and has never been a problem. That said I would rather have a nice metal pump, just to make me feel better about it.
That said I tend to use my 111T instead nowadays. That's your fault riik ;)
"a kilogram of water (about a gallon)"
I know US gallons are smaller than the propper ones but that is nowhere close. 1 kg of water is 1 litre, which is 0.22ish UK gallons or 0.26ish US gallons.
I know nothing about the medical stuff tho'
Thanks Rob,
This is going to sound daft but, are you sure that across the waist is 50cm? Looking at the pic it looks closer to 23" or about 60cm??
If it's 50cm I'll have to pass, but if 60ish cm then I'd like it please.
Cheers

Hi BR,
I was tidying up the front garden and digging up some bamboo and I bust one of the tines off my digging fork:aargh4:.
It's about 25cm long with a slight curve and 10mm square. From a stainless fork.
It should be strong enough for what you want but I would have thought that it would...
