    Thanks Brancho, I am finding Thanks Brancho, I'm finding aperture mode is doing what I need, Unfortunately the weather's been bad so didn' want to take camera out in the wet, I did find some new places to go though for when the weather is nicer.

    I normally go for a G shock, I picked a nice one up at a boot fair for £20, been on site with me and only had to replace strap which cost £3 from ebay.

    Thanks for the replies, decided forget rid of Parker and get a dedicated goretex coat, I do like the idea of the tax thing, I could get a work coat!

    I've been given a really decent very warm Parker and once I've dyed it black i would like to waterproof it, At the moment its more like a duvet with sleeves and won't be any good in the rain. Thanks for any suggestions.

    Treated myself to a Nikon d3400 dslr, wanted to get into photography and get some decent photos of days out , just need to sort a way of storing it in my day pack. Might see if someone sells an insert to fit in a rucksack.
