    Ban on sale of coal and wet wood.

    I plant, grow, harvest, stack, season and burn my own logs. I have to buy some in as well. Last month I planted over 200 Willow cuttings. Plan to harvest them in about 4 to 5 years. When we have a power cut I can still make a brew and cook on the wood burner. Can't imagine not having a burner.

    Fiskars Norden Axes

    I have an X7 in my collection. Its my only Fiskars but I tend to go for it first if I have any light work to do. Softer steel so easy to touch up the edge whilst you work. Belt clip is excellent. Not keen on this new idea as you can really abuse a Fiskars axe. I guess this new range look better...

    Just signed up today. Smallholder from the Shropshire hills. Currently covered in snow. Got a reasonable collection of axes, saws and knives etc. Hopefully I will learn something. Cheers. :laugh:
