    CHILD'S FIRST KNIFE

In the end we went with the Schnitzel DU. Bought on Germany's Amazon thanks Erbswurst and everyone for your thoughts. The Schnitzel DU is a superb little knife with perfect proportions. Thoroughly recommend

...yes, I bought a HD knife for that exact purpose.... haven't got round to it yet though . There's a Youtube video about removing the handle

    CHILD'S FIRST KNIFE

I thought of that myself, unfortunately all Hultafors sheaths hold the knife in place by the tip of the finger guard

Yes only the OK1 and HD have the bigger chunkier handles, the OK4 has the same heavy duty blade as those two but the slimmer shorter handle of the rest of the range

    CHILD'S FIRST KNIFE

Hi yes the OK1 and HD have bulkier handles (the e plastic kind rather than high grip kind on the OK 4) I have taken photos of both to show the difference...but don't know how to post them on here?

Totally agree Re Hultafors range. For my hand the standard handles fit better than any of the Moras. The OK4 is one of my favourite knives, even in comparison with my Lars Fält or F1 it's one of the most ergonomic knives and the one I grab most often. Also at around £17 you tend not to over...

    Bushcraft and survival skills magazine

That may explain things to some extent....still unsure how all major publications and even daily newspapers have managed to keep the printers rolling. Also I'm sure they wouldn't be short of content/articles given that the authors/journalists are stuck at home like the rest of us.......

    Bushcraft and survival skills magazine

Issue 86 seems to be their most recent, they are now two issues behind. The free knife is fulfilled by Sringfield Bushcraft, may be worth chasing up with them?

.....I was told it's due to delays with publishers etc. Issue 87 is now 3 months late!!!! Not sure how most of the country seems to be able to keep up and all the major newspapers and magazines are on our shelves in a timely (daily in the case of newspapers) manner. Retailers are still able to...
