That sounds like a great opportunity for somebody in the right situation, if you could squeeze the hours into a couple of days it would leave the rest of the week to explore the mountains :)
A roof over the head (albeit a fibreglass one) and some basics provisions sounds fair enough
The Dixon Roller pack is nicely designed, with one wheel it's probably better behaved on the rougher stuff

I picked up the 10-12 man on Sportpursuit a couple of months ago for stupid money, less than half what I paid for my 4-6 man from Tamarack. If they've appeared on SP then there's a good chance they're now discontinued
A lot of the estates in the 'Gorms ask you not to light fires, you might get some unwanted visitors if you have a wood stove running in some areas. I get up there every winter for a week (it's not quite cold enough yet :)) but we hammock camp and use multi fuel stoves rather than light fires...
Looks good, I'm always paranoid about putting ember holes in my tipis when burning softwoods, did you get any errant sparks?
I must get my SO 4 man tipi and stove out a bit more this winter
