Found that light I used last time around the camp fire on Amazon if anyone is interested in buying one as a few of you seemed keen to get one also. It's quoting 11 hours on the lower light setting I was using. I've only found imitation cheaper clones when looking upto now but am tempted to get a...
I would be worried about the two poles falling over but if you can make it secure then go for it, generally though it's always a tripod I see used even with a half Lavvu setup, be it internal or external. The washing line poles I use are about thumb thickness so they dont use up much space...
I've got the Easyhammock Winter Hiker which has a built in underblancket built in & a D4 bag, merino base layers. Went out in -4 a few weeks back to test the setup and woke up suprisingly warm. It was my 1st time ever in a hammock and I found the whole getting into and out of the bag a pain, at...
Assuming a set of merino base layers and a wool mid layer, do you think this Snugpak quilt would be good for all all but the winter months? I would really like to get away with leaving the sleeping bag at home unless it's 5C or less.
Definately use a different method of holding it up than the center pole. You can build a tripod inside or one outside and hang to top of the Lavvu from it. If your not travelling too far from the car and dont mind not being strictly "Bushcraft," then 3 adjustable washing line poles can be bought...
Prescribed due to low vitamin d levels while having bloods tests for a pre-existing condition. Nurse said most people in the UK have low levels due to the lack of sunshine in the UK.

Also might be worth...
There is an e-mail notification list at MM, any Size 3's are normally only in stock for minutes at best. I would still keep an eye out in ebay, that's where I got my size 3 from but I did pay £80 for it.
Been happy with my Nemo Switchback close air pad down to around freezing temperatures, not tested it colder than -2. It's the equivalent of the Thermarest Z-Lite and has an R value of 1.9.
I think the "middle of" is what most consider it to be but it's a very lose definition. For example, when do the seasons start? Some define winter as starting on the 1st December, others at the winter solstace. Or is the winter solstance meant to be in the "middle" of winter? It all depends on...
It is just the first month and teething problems should be expected. I'm sure in 6 months time all the relevant suppliers will have the scenario sorted out and things will return to normal, albeit with an extra charge to buy EU goods of course.
One of the items he placed in it was a saw blade rolled around the inside which he could then make a frame out of. Brilliant idea I thought so I bought a saw blade but its too thick and will snap if I try an bend it to fit into a 16cm billy. Any recomandations for a saw blade thin enough to fit...
