    Dressing for a Job Interview

If you have got the interview from a job agency then you can always ask the agent if formal wear is required or if you can get away with something more casual. The agent will normally have a good relationship with the person interviewing you and will know what they will expect.

Article: SnugPak: Insulated Jungle Travel Blanket

I've actually started using mine indoors since the weather turned colder, I hate duvet's as I hate the "weight" of them on top of me but the jungle blanket has been keeping me toasty. Tempted to buy the regular size for the EDC bag now.

    Cold-camp night footwear

Not the smallest item but I do sometimes take clogs with me which come in hand for that mid sleep nature call.

    Fires galore

Looking back I am a little horrified by the bonfire's I have been guilty of in my younger days. I personally don't see too much of a problem with small controlled fires while out camping if the conditions are safe to do so, even in winter a 12 inch by 12 inch contained fire is enough to warm you...

    Bushcraft and survival skills magazine

I spoke to them atthe Bushcraft show, they had an IT issue and know it affected the mailing list for the magazines and that some people are not recieving theirs. They requested anyone affected contact them so they can rectify the situation. As I understand it contacting them has also been difficult.

    Fire pistons, what's "the knack"?

Bought one of these from bushcraft tools at the Bushcraft show and could not get it to work either, the sliding was bumpy. Took it back and it seemed the o-ring just needed adjusting until it formed a proper seal.

I think they may have changed the outside material on the S6 now, the web site is claiming its "Pertex® Quantum" whatever that means.

    Buffalo Special 6 - astonished

By far and away the best "camping" purchase I have ever made and one I would replace in a heartbeat if it got damaged. I have been out in rain but never got wet though I understand it's meant to dry in 15 minutes using body heat if it does get wet. Been out in -7C without feeling cold. Bit of a...
