I have a few Weihrauch rifles too..

Dragging up an old thread now!!
I swapped my Record wood turning lathe for this Granville, It's a cracking machine too, I haven't got it set up yet though as my garage is still full of stuff out of my shed after it collapsed! :o

Hi all
My first (two) attempts were rather large knives (or short swords!) at around twenty inches long!!
The Cutlass type I bashed out of mild steel packing and so is a wall hanger :(
The double edged is actually hammered out from a high carbon sharpening steel, both were hammered out at my...
Glad you answered that question tagnut as I had no idea what it was!!!
Think I got the hatchet/hammer thingy from the local bootsale years ago!!
Eifion, you'll need some tongs too for holding the workpiece unless you're going to use Mole grips or similar..
The strange hammer type thing is a...
Hi
I mounted mine the same way as Ged suggested, I stood the anvil on the stump, drew around the foot then removed it and routed the footprint out..

Went to the local bootsale this morning, it was hectic!!
I bought this little (13/4 pint) kettle and meths burner and wondered if anyone on here had heard of them before??
It seems to be made of tinned steel (much like a baked bean can :o )
I can't seem to find out anything about...
No but I think the wife wishes I did :o:o
Edit- Treetop, I play guitar (went to college for three terms to learn back in 2000 but now I have Arthritis in my hands making it more difficult to play :( )
John :)
