Electronic Bushcraft, Sourcing Energy and building Radio Communication from Earth

What about a gravitational collector? I have a design for one in my book of ideas that can be easily constructed at home with readily available materials. Once you focus the force it is like turning on the tap and almost endless. Better to be nearer the centre but that can be done fairly easily...

Electronic Bushcraft, Sourcing Energy and building Radio Communication from Earth

Have you thought about pyramid technology? You could use a square based pyramid made of copper or glass to focus vibrational fields on to the receptor, thereby avoiding eddy currents in the flux. Sent from underground

I am thinking an ionic sail to capture the solar wind could be an effective solution, potentially coupled with a key line current. Thoughts? Sent from underground

    New knife laws

Section 7 allows ownership and use of handguns but they need to be of "historical importance", Section 1 allows black powder revolvers or muzzle loading pistols then Section 5 would allow ownership of pretty much anything but is rare to be granted. Sent from underground Edit: Swotty reminded...

    New knife laws

I am being pedantic here but most guns aren't banned. All guns are restricted and licensable with some categories of firearm being more difficult to get authorisation to own than others.

    New knife laws

I think you are right, these rules will only really apply to those who are stopped and searched which will likely be males from minority ethnic backgrounds who live in cities. BUT the point is that, even though it won't affect the majority of the population, it is a useless piece of legislation...

    New knife laws

I read an article on this which had a photograph of examples of these terrifying zombie knives, the problem is that the photo was of various knives with neon green handles, including plain edged throwing knives and a plain edged lock knife. Misinformation really doesn't help Sent from underground

@Colinski I think you missed Pattree's post above. The blocks are made of metaldehyde, which doesn't sound like very nice stuff: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metaldehyde Sent from underground

    Lowe Alpine Sting belt replacement

Has anybody added a replacement hip belt to a LA Sting? The existing one is sewn in and the only way I can see of attaching an alternative would be via the velcro flap that covers the back adjustment. I just don't see how the load would transfer properly as it is quite loose Sent from underground
