on the hunt for the ultimate All season Sleeping Mat/Pad

Don't forget that with the exped downmat you can get a schnozzel bag to significantly speed up inflation. google it. It's an ingenious invention from exped. Cheap and solves the problem :) Thing with closed cell foam mats, from my experience is you don't feel entirely rested after a nights...

    KIT CLEAROUT- various quality items

It's a genuine issue, so am thinking 3 litres. Can't vouch for exacts but it's certainly bigger than my 2 litre bladder I use for kayaking. steve

on the hunt for the ultimate All season Sleeping Mat/Pad

Yea had trialled the synmat, comfort wise it's effectively the same as the downmat, only difference being the efficiency of the insulation when the temperature drops. Which ia why i chose the downmat, more comfort in the cold weather. Used mine down to minus 15 in a tent and was snug as a bug :)...

on the hunt for the ultimate All season Sleeping Mat/Pad

I can certainly vouch for the downmat 7. Most comfortable warmest mat I have used (doesnt sound like a crisp packet like some of the neo airs either ;), i use it in hammock also. steve

there you go, a pic of my gulfman, as you can see, it comes with original box etc etc. Shipping on this would be uk only though i'm afraid as my quoted postage would not cover shipping to netherlands. Cheers Steve

    Casio g shock gulfman

Yes I believe someone had commented that they could get it new for not much more. Although, havin scouted about the net I find the price for my pretty much as new watch was pretty fair. You will always find the online shops with excellent prices but no current stock just to get you on their...

Hi, due to getting a citizen Eco drive for a present I have for sale a mint condition g shock gulfman. No scratches on it anywhere. It was my occasional use watch so it is very very clean. It was bought in march last year and I will send on the receipt to the new owner. It comes with its...

West Coast Scotland - Recommendations Sought

Depending on your canoeing experience, why not consider doing the river Spey descent. Pretty sure there are hire places up there too. Pretty much covers all your expectations, whisky, history/landmarks etc. just bear in mind you are fast approaching midge season, especially bad on west coast, so...

    What to kip on?

Exped downmat 7. Small pack size, reasonable weight for the insulation values. Warm, comfortable and tough (also comes with a puncture repair kit although have never needed it). Having used thermarest for some time previous to my exped, both are great, but if I were to replace my exped, it would...

Air rifle help and advice needed

I can certainly second the venom tuning. Have had a couple of lazaglide tuned guns (not sure if they still do the full lazaglide tune since webley bought over venom). With regards to an ideal scope, for something in the 50 quid bracket you would be looking at secondhand. A hawke varmint, AirMax...

Air rifle help and advice needed

1.Air rifles can be pellet fussy, so would recommend trying a few brands, crosman acupells seemed ok in my old hw97 when I had one. 2. Hawke scopes are good value for money. Just steer clear of their cheapest ones like the hawke sport (I found the crosshairs quite thick on the sport, maybe just...

Interesting Canadian Canoe (Open boats only), DVD

hi, The point I was trying to make is that canoes are not superior to kayaks, they are just different, with both advantages and disadvantages. It just rattles my cage a little when someone paddles about on a sit on top briefly and then feels they can label the whole kayaking sport as some...
