    What's with all these crossovers/SUVs?

For some, maybe a fashion thing.. However, I do feel I have to defend the suv drivers amongst us and express the fact that for some, it's practicality. A blend of space for the kids and gear, decent ground clearance for the really rubbish tracks that they call roads around here and the fact it...

No Replies = No More Topic Posts?

I wouldn't take no feedback as a negative. More discussion usually arises from either a controversial subject or a post seeking advice ( everyone loves advising or chipping in when there controversy!).... the fact there are numerous views of your videos/posts would suggest either...

Hi, Am having a thin out of my gear and have the following up for sale: Gerber Ultimate Pro Survival knife. It has been used but not abused. Hammocks

You will Deffo need some form of insulation as even a cool breeze will sap the warmth from you (bear in mind all insulation from whatever your laying on in hammock will be compressed so will offer little protection). Loch Morar Information Wanted.

Yes I guess as I kayaked around from arisaig up loch Nevis and carted the boat over to morar I may well have been in the densely wooded area. I had a tent but had thought to myself a hammock would have been a god send on my last night at morar.

    Loch Morar Information Wanted.

Plenty of hammock opportunity there. If you are on the water though it can be pretty mental when the wind picks up. What a place though, it's definately on my 'must go back there' list :) Steve

    HighlanderSelf inflating mat

I have one also. In fairness it doesn't get used very often as I have a few mats. But for the price, it's pretty good and seems hardwearing, only downside with the one I have is its bulky compared to some. For the price though, you would be hard pressed to find a better mat. Steve
