    So there I was all excited by their Guide lodge pants, but they dont appear on the European website, so I rang Filson and no, they wont ship to the UK and if it aint on the European website, tough luck. Anyone else had this ? And is there a way round it ?

    Now in Turin. Recognise this place ? Its half an hour away, the Sacra di St Michele, where they filmed the Name of the Rose. Some first class fresco and other art in there and astounding views of the Piedmontese hills.

    Tilley hat does three seasons for me. wool or fleece in winter. Buff also great as a headband when it's chilly but you dont want a full hat.
