there are a few good threads on here about beginning leatherwork and what's needed. A quick search should turn them up. it all depends as to what type of leatherwork you want to do. if it's simple vegtan stuff, I would invest in a decent awl, then if money allows, a stich grover, overstich...

These are the sheaths, both danglers one left one right. both wet forme, need to get more practice to get neater welts. leaf design stiched with artificail sinew and left with a small drainage hole, and the other stiched with brown nylon braded waxedthread. Thanks for looking. Ste
