Just seen this Scottie. I know exactly what you mean. I used to live about 3/4 hour walk form the Bushmoot. Even now I've moved to the other side of town I have to keep the bedroom windows closed because I'm woken up by seagulls at about 4:30 every morning.

We also moved house about 6 months ago and I miss my log burner. No chance of putting one into the new house because the chimney breast has been blocked up. But yes. When our old house was being done up we used to BBQ outside in October. Does a Cyprus Souvla BBQ count as well if we're talking...

I took last nights decent evening to go through some of my stoves and was astounded by the number of stove things I had. In relative order of size, I've got a BCB Fire Dragon Burner, MSR2 Pocket Rocket, Trangia burner in an Esbit Triangle, Lixada small Twig/Wood Stove, Lixada gasification stove...

I'm still wondering whether to go down the cheaper route and supplement it with my Sungpak Jungle Blanket as additional insulation for 1-2 season use.

Used to be able to get good bargains on Trangia cooking sets from Clas Ohlson but unfortunately they all seem to have closed down in the UK now. Should have taken my chance when I had it.

Did you get the full set up Scottie or just the medium bag? i.e summer bag, liner etc. I've been looking at this for a while.

I know the feeling about double sleeping bags Scottie. We have 2 and its impossible to get either one of us comfortable in it.

As the title says what preference do you have for the shape? Looking to get a new one and always had straight in the past.

Only thing I ever used bulrushes for as a child was to build small boats by wrapping them around in an oval shape and sailing them down the river
