    Why a tarp?

I like them for their flexibility - day shelter, or bivi/hammock cover, or additional living area when using a tent. In recent camps, I've gone for tarp floor, sleeping pad and quilt, with a mosquito net and then a tarp overhead, but rolled back so that I can look up into the canopy when lying...

What are your favourite pocket knives?

You'll get endless opinions on this, but all that matters is that you're happy with it, given as you say it meets the criteria based on cutting edge length and it's a non-locker. If you're not solid on this (which seems to be the case given querying it here) I'd either grind off the extra using...

    Raven PK1 Knife

Likewise. Though the direct-from-Woodlore Woodlore knife has long been out of my fixed blade user budget too. I've not held a PK1, but it looks like it will be a very hefty knife in hand, which alone would put me off regardless of how it balances in hand (if it is indeed as weighty is at...

Heads up - Post office not sending sharps after 22nd April

Standard question for tracked services, it wasn't mandatory the last time I used that service either. All it does is provide tracking details to the recipient. If the buyer declines, put your own.

    Snugpak antartic mat

A shame it didn't work out. I don't really understand the reviews of it, what are they on about it in terms of being a sleeping mat! You must need to use it in combination with an actual pad, surely, given what you've received.

    Snugpak antartic mat

Please do report back as it looks really interesting. From videos I've just watched it looks like it's basically a really thin polyester insulated duvet in a shell material, not very matty in that regard in terms of comfort for you lying on it. Hopefully there's more to it when you get it in...

    Snugpak antartic mat

Oh I see, sorry I misread the sales page and incorrectly thought it was itself a self-inflating mat. That's interesting then, I'm going to see if there are any YouTube videos on it because I currently don't really understand what it does as that picture of it crumpled up implies it's got very...

    Snugpak antartic mat

It's quite different, because the mat is inflated and thus isn't being flattened to the same extent as a sleeping bag is when laid upon. Quite a few air pads use synthetic or down insulation. I can't speak for the particular mat in your post, but my Exped mat has insulation inside it and seems...

Withdrawn POST OFFICE DESTROYING KNIFE - THE END !!!

Again, I'm really sorry to hear this. It's possible therefore that what @mikehill said elsewhere on the forum then (https://bushcraftuk.com/community/threads/heads-up-post-office-not-sending-sharps-after-22nd-april.165249/page-12#post-2072605), that the risk is when the parcels fly and are thus...

    Reactive outdoor 3sec tent

That's really poor on both counts. What does the tracking information say when you put in your tracking number?

    Reactive outdoor 3sec tent

Evri's delivery times (next day, two day etc.) are often meaningless, but I'm finding the same with Royal Mail now. The only exception being Special Delivery. Tracked 24/48 is now a meaningless multi-day delivery service. What is your exact issue Woodstock?

Withdrawn POST OFFICE DESTROYING KNIFE - THE END !!!

@Mervg May I ask where you were sending the package from and to? Just counties/nearby cities will do, just trying to work out how far it had to travel.
