There was a bit of a mix up so I received the thumb stud instead of, rather than in addition to the Luna. I'll see if there are some other interesting Luna variants around before ordering it again.

That one is great! That being said, I really don't want to deal with that company, they are apparently useless when things go wrong with sharps and the UK. I used to buy from them long ago though and they were good.

The Nitecore NU32 I refer to earlier in this thread can go straight to red, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it (explained above) but it suggests other Nitecores can go straight to red too. I had no idea there were green light options; does this similarly not disturb night vision?

I'd always go XL for these. The extra space in what is already very pokey is worth the slight additional weight and pack size.
