Oh totally. It's just dreadful that it happened in the first place. It's the sort of thing where if this happened on the telly you'd half expect them to crack out a breathalyser.
Maybe the surgeon is called Timothy (points to those who provide the reference)
I realise at a glance it seems rather cool, but this is frankly terrifying. It reads more like a warzone situation than a hospital in what is a highly developed country.
I'm pleased with this Luna Lite - decided against the untextured GITD red of the Heinnie's model. The thumb stud was a royal pain to get on because the long pull is not evenly ground so one side starts before the other, and the 'pinched' nature of the thumb stud (it's kind of C shaped to ride...
I'm not a maker, but I thought it was a way to add thickness to a handle without requiring the raw handle material to be as thick, as well as to add visual appeal.
I have had a knife with very thin liners but they seemed to almost squeeze out from the handle and blade stock interface. That...
There was a bit of a mix up so I received the thumb stud instead of, rather than in addition to the Luna. I'll see if there are some other interesting Luna variants around before ordering it again.
Yeah I caved over the weekend on the red GITD. The thing I'm most wary of is the lack of texturing compared to the other G10 Lunas, but I'll see what it's like when it arrives.
That Ultem looks great on the Elementum.
Agreed on the Stella, it looks great. Less OHO-able though, and I prefer the...
Thank you for the confidence-inspiring post in their products. The Luna does seem to be everywhere online, in a very good way.
Was it the G Tanto that you've gone for? I do rather like the look of that, but prefer the theoretical back spring security of the Luna vs. the double detente of the G...
That one is great! That being said, I really don't want to deal with that company, they are apparently useless when things go wrong with sharps and the UK. I used to buy from them long ago though and they were good.
The Nitecore NU32 I refer to earlier in this thread can go straight to red, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it (explained above) but it suggests other Nitecores can go straight to red too.
I had no idea there were green light options; does this similarly not disturb night vision?
Evening all,
I've long looked the look of the Luna from Real Steel, they look elegant and practical.
Do I need it? Absolutely not. Do I want it? I do rather.

Does anyone have any experience with this Luna with the red glow...
These days I would personally only use it in combination with a tarp unless under really good tree cover. I sold my double hooped version a few years back, and do regret it somewhat as I just don't get the same experience from a British milsurp bivi bag. But I was daft to ever think I would...
