Never chroned it, bought it as a pistol so would imagine 6 maximum as I’m pretty sure they have a pressure release valve to prevent it going over, that can obviously be tampered with but I haven’t. I put a stock on it as I’m shite with a pistol and then never really used it anyway.

Yeah I have tried various versions of the 97 and the only time I liked it more than the break barrel hw’s was when I put it in a 77 stock!
Have a tuned up (still legal) 80k but it’s a tank to carry so bought a .177 95k love the weight and feel just dont like .177 hence looking for a .22 version.
Got a hw97k in .22 for £270 and a knock about hw35 in. 22 ready to be tuned and rebuilt for £130 if your itch comes back nice65.
