    Lock down boreal smock project

Eventually got round to making my wool blanket smock. I used a pattern that I adapted to what I wanted. Quite pleased with the result as it's my first clothing sewing project [emoji846] Sent from Somerset using magic

    Dating a Case scout knife

Thank you, hopefully it'll arrive tomorrow. I've done a fair bit of googling (and eBay US) but haven't found an image of one the same. I found a site with dates of logos and it seems to be between 1920-1940. I think it might have been a good £15 investment! Itching for it to turn up now [emoji3]...

    Legal edc bushcraft knife ?

Oops, sorry for hijacking again! Yes, you've summerised my indecision there...losing strength of the 2 for the versatility of the 1....oh, decisions, decisions! There's always the Whitby version of the TBS boar...very similar though. I don't understand why they stopped making the pk70 . I was...

    Legal edc bushcraft knife ?

Do you have the BM1 or BM2? I can't decide which is the handiest blade profile of the two. I agree the Luna has a weaker backspring the choil certainly helps avoid accidentally closing. The Wasp has a couple of stops which can be annoying but a handy safety feature. But as the OP says their...

    Legal edc bushcraft knife ?

My favourite ones to carry are Enzo pk70, Fox nauta, Terry Kidd friction folder, Manly wasp and Realsteel Luna. I'm thinking of getting a Lionsteel bestman in the new year as they just look beautifully made but a tad pricey. Which one I have in my pocket depends on what I'm likely to be doing...
