A little rant about Keen Footwear Customer Service

Chris, I was in Trekitt in Hereford last year and tried on Acu Pilgrim boots. I am mightily impressed with the breathability of the GTX versions and the non gtx version is reputed to be ridiculously fast drying. Worth a look.

    New knife for me.

Simple is best and I treat myself often, probably too often......

    New knife for me.

Recently found one of the discontinued Brisa Trapper in D2 which I love. A friend kindly stabilised some Ash from Caersws for me and I slapped it all together over red liners with Brass fittings. Up here and unable to get home for the last 18 months I am suffering Hiraeth rather badly, so...

    Favourite Schraftin book

As I have spent more time in 'Bushcraft ' I find my interest has evolved like so many others. I still really like Ray Mears, but I am now less interested in survival than permaculture and traditional skills. Next to the bed are 'We are nature' sundqvists carving techniques and Mike Abbotts green...

    Buying from Brisa

My concern is brisa being charged. I was sure there is a low threshold. Only paid the import sting on my wife's Swazi yesterday in the hope she gives mine back.

    Buying from Brisa

Update. I have just had a text message from FedEx. They want £7 odd tax and £12 handling charge for holding my items for a months. DHL had the replacement package here in four days. Brisa and DHL are fantastic.

Add to this, it took less than a week for red G10 liners to arrive from Hong Kong (forgot to check where they were despatched from on ebay)

    Buying from Brisa

Well, on Wednesday, after I managed to speak to Fed Ex, they apologised I had missed that days post. On Friday I had a text to say it was in Aberdeen and would be out for delivery on the next working day. Brisa are brilliant. Tick the slightly more expensive delivery option. I have four...

    Buying from Brisa

Well, Brisa have been brilliant. Fed ex have apologised after I ticked all their boxes two weeks ago and promised to send it on but it has been held every day including today. Brisa have re issued the order with another carrier. Can't fault Brisa.

I did point out that if they googled brisa g10 scale, but no. I had to provide everything and a declaration.

    Buying from Brisa

Brisa have listed it. But the staff at FedEx have done a quick (poor Google search) and have forced me to take time out with declarations that I feel are intrusive. I told them to open the packet, but legwork was required. The tone of self important facetious staff didn't help. It is all going...

    Buying from Brisa

I have been a Brisa customer for quite a few years. My latest order is on the way right now, consisting of orange g10, red and black acrylic and a slack handful of corby bolts. I have had Fed Ex on the phone, saying they were going to report my order to the weapons department of customs...
