    Slugs deterrent

If you want some fun, Bug-a-salt type gun works great when they are exposed, they really don't like getting shot with fine sea salt. In old house under tree canopy used to go round at night and blast them on the walls and paths. 10 min for a few nights severely reduces the numbers...

    Air pistol for Squirrels?

What I will say is if you are sitting in a hide and head shooting, 12ftlbs .177 can work, if you are hunting, you don't generally have time or angle for a clean headshot and .22 (ok) and .25 (best) are better. They retain more energy downrange and kill well with heart/lung shot.

    Air pistol for Squirrels?

For an air rifle, squirrels need quite a wallop, 177 at 6ftlbs will not penetrate at more than 5yds to give a good kill shot to the body. I use a BSA Lightning 11.5ftlb, 25cal with H&N FTT pellets.

Darlac Handy Garden ratchet loppers... very light 550g ish due to being mostly GRP, as well as compact and can cut up to 35mm. Blade is protected by loppers nose which doesn't allow oversize branches in, so protects from over stressing. Beats out pruning shears which can be just as heavy but...
