    BioLite Stove with USB port

I'm going to be seriously unhappy if this turns out to be the case, the whole point of the bloody thing is that it will charge any 5v usb device.

    BioLite Stove with USB port

I'll be interested to hear how well it changes usb devices, the wood gas stove part of it is well proven, although is there a low and high or variable setting on the fan?, still mid July for delivery of mine :(

Bushmoot 2012 road trip gather help

Heh mate, yeah I did think about that , but I haven't seen any threads saying there will be knapping this year, if there is I'd be more than happy to help defray the transport costs of some extra nodules :)

Bushmoot 2012 road trip gather help

I've decided that rather than travelling down to the Moot by plane (as I've done in the past), I'm going to drive, means I can bring more stuff :o, but more importantly it means I can take stuff back, (always a problem with the pesky airline limits). So the reason for this thread, there's two...

Some fantastic Pre BushMoot Courses (2012)

I'd like to do the first aid course, mine is out of date, is there enough interest to run it? I'd quite like to do the basket weaving as well, interested in making a lobster/crab pot

    Warbonnet Blackbird Hammock?

Rich (Shewie) bought my Blackbird and said he watched them crawl thru the mesh one night, I never noticed them getting thru. Its noseem btw, not mosquito netting. Shewie actually sent midge netting to Brandon to get a special Blackbird made using it. I don't know if he's used it in anger yet...

    Amsteel Workshop

Tony I've made a few whoopie slings, as well as soft shackles and other bits and pieces, and have rolls of various gauge fishing leaders to make splicing tools, but don't know about a workshop. If I decide to come this year, which is probably :), I'd be happy to show individuals. I'll have a...

new addition to my woodspirit family

I've enjoyed your tutorial, and really enjoyed your work, but man, this guy is amazing, the detail on his face, I really like the use of depth and shadow to enhance his features. Not sure about the candle idea, but perhaps a casting in bronze, with a candle holder built in?, perhaps one either side.

Canoeists airlifted to hospital after Loch Lochy capsize

I agree with you Josh, (also about the drysuit :) ), I think it really hit home for me when I started down the sailing canoe path, you can get a long way from shore very quickly, on a trip to the Kyles of Bute we were tacking across the whole width of the sound to make headway back home. Also...
