    Exactly this, it just seems unnecessary to have it on a sheath. I feel the same way about having a sharpening stone on the sheath to, if I need it it’s in my pack or haversack!

    Don’t think so, I think k you have to just get to the water table - I have zero knowledge though, I just know a couple of people with boreholes the dug on their property that work well

    No, but I know 2 people that drilled their own in their back garden - one in ascot and another one in Northampton. We hand drilled one nearly 7m deep at the bushcraft club which produces water. I guess cost depends how deep you need to go?

    Drill a borehole in your garden - I can’t imagine ANY normal domestic house using more than 20cm3 a day tbh
