I’m a side sleeper and sleep fine in the right hammock, without a mat which is a pain to use even with a double layer bottom.

Long and wide hammock or one ones like the Warbonnet with a foot box so you can lay flat without the need for a mat. Most DD hammocks are too short and narrow to sleep diagonally properly and get a proper flat lay.

A bloke rang me up last night and said, I’m the dandy highwayman who you’re too scared to mention. I spend my cash on looking flash and grabbing your attention.

It’s an addictive ‘subject’! I’m very lucky to live in the New Forest where all the species of deer are present and also close to a variety of habitats .
