The BCB is more for general camping and lightweight trips; I bought it for the odd occasion where the weather would be nice and I could use it with minimal other equipment.
I have an Alpkit Hunka that I am more happy to throw about.
All swords? Is that what it says?
Technically a foil is used in the sport of fencing. Most guns are banned but shooting is still allowed so I would think once the furore and hyperbole had died down those using swords for sport, ceremonial and civic duties would carry on as before.
I think they would do better in the south, where all the woodland and deer are! I can’t see the general populace of the UK being up for it; I think as a country of supposed animal lovers we actually treat our wild animals very poorly!
A wolf killed the EU president's precious pony - then the fight to catch the predator began
Interesting article about wolves in Europe, their population numbers and how they coexist with human populations.

Have you tried a tump line? When I was into canoeing we did massive portages in Scotland carrying all our gear and canoes using tump lines/straps.
Also used them to collect drift wood for camp building and fires on the foreshore. Worked well on uneven ground.
Surprisingly easy to make and...
Quite unrelated but my son and I were out in the forest last year and a large dead branch fell to the ground and as it landed a squirrel ran off of it. It had broken the branch and landed with it as it fell, then hit the ground at the same time and ran off as it did so.
I’m sure there is a...
