    I had one when I was in the services I got off a US airman in Turkey in 1983, for a box of 10, 24 hour ration packs! I gave it to a friend when I left thinking I’d never need it again!

    Got bitten when i served at Blandford, had a real reaction and my wrist had swollen to the point I couldn’t wear my watch, apparently if you drink lots of single malt whiskey though, counter acts the effects!

    Kukri for Bushcraft use ?

    Had a kukri since 1979, got it off a Gurkha in Belize, still use it from time to time, I wrapped the handle with epoxy resin and para cord to make it thicker for my hand to grip better and never had a problem.
