Sorry mate but I must be missing something, have you got huge hands? The bushtool will remain the same size and grind but I'm looking into stainless steel blades.

I'm positive it will Excel at its intended use but I'd prefer a shorter heavier blade any day. It was a new toy.

It may be fine, as long as you don't put loads of weight in it, it's not meant for heavy load anyway. I love it Rog.

My vote goes to the gransfors wildlife hatchet, not cheap but excellent for all round camp chores

I have that axe and as a carving axe it's great but not great for chopping and splitting. Cant beat a gransfors but there are other good aces like the hultafors which are cheaper
