    Cheese With Hot Dog?

Is the hot weather triggering everyones tempers or something? This is a topic about hot dogs and cheese, seemingly a rather amusing topic on which to display some faux outrage one way or another and we've seemingly delved into political correctness and or heritage topics with an air of serious...

    Futurproofing your house

Fitted lots of rockwool slabs in our place, can't recall the thickness now.. and don't fancy dropping a couple ceilings to check, so you'll have to take my word on me being happy with it. Slabs are also nice because you can cut them with a saw easily enough, they have a little elasticity in them...

    Futurproofing your house

@Woody girl Well, regardless of whether the individual in the video was globally correct or not, he actually stated mature trees in his point. Anyway... With regards to futureproofing, prepping, lunacy or smart-acy o_O  , whatever you want to call it. I'd suggest the main thing one...

    Futurproofing your house

I saw a video, I've not verified its "facts" at all, so I'm happy to be corrected... it was an aussie guy talking about CO2 which is the big issue we all have been told to fight... he said something along the lines of Aus produces X million tons of CO2 a year, but average trees absorb X amount...

Sixth Sense - What is it ?

I still think unless we go into the "wooooOOOoo" sense of the 6th sense, then it would be chalked down to instinct and situational awareness. There are many people who can sleep through a thunderstorm, but the change in air pressure from a door opening will wake them... I grew up abroad with...

    Cheese With Hot Dog?

What kind of sordid darkweb thread did I just come across? Cheese and a hotdog? Disgraceful! None of you are invited to my bbq's if you deem that remotely appropriate!

Sixth Sense - What is it ?

I met a wolf dog once before and had the displeasure of sleeping in the same room as it... It looked at me with empty emotionless eyes. I'm not sure if it was sizing me up as it's next meal, or sizing me up to see if I was going to be a threat to it and if it could handle me? It was missing all...

    Stoopid jokes

Did we have: "If a man says something in a forest and no woman is around to hear it, is he still wrong?"

    Stoopid jokes

Had a great afternoon having a water fight with next doors kids, I was outnumbered and out gunned but I still won, they were no match for me and my kettle.

    Budget belly busters

.....think I'll avoid those last few recipes, as lovely as they do sound... I quite like sleeping in the same bed/room/house as my wife... I suspect I'd find myself banned... (without the tent...)

    Guitar players amongst us?

I play(ish) - getting back into it again after a few years not... but having just bought a Epiphone Les Paul Custom Koa  recently...as well as an Valeton GP200 effects pedal to the tune of "ouch" I don't think I can risk my marriage with anything else this year

    What did you buy today?

Got it on offer but one of htose Jetboil crunchit recycling tools... I've built up a few cans which are "empty" and this tool allows you to knock a hole in it and recycle it. I'm sure there are other ways... hammer and a nail? But this seems a little more civilised...

    Bushcraft UK...but not...

I was reading dome comments about the passing of Robson Valley on his families tribute page and someone mentioned BCUK, it got me thinking about how this forum attracts people from all over and not just the UK, how did any of you oversea folk find the forum? Is there sister forums? I'm sure...
