    My Covid-19 projects

Actually that is not a bad idea as that is the audience I will be addressing - telling stories of rape, murder, lies, mayhem and weird dreams... involving mushrooms! I need some way of making these tales child applicable!

    My Covid-19 projects

Aye, well - I did study Fashion Design at College and got a Btec OND.. and designed for Craghoppers, Snowdon Clothing and others for a while as well as having my own label range for a while .... others do not have these advantages... unless they buy copies of my DIY clothing booklets :) My...

    My Covid-19 projects

Yup a silver skull on the zip pull and two tan ones on the hood cord. The cord locks are all mini hand grenades :) As to the net - at present I never want to see another net in my life - that one took 25 hours of work!

    My Covid-19 projects

I thought I would keep a record of my Covid-19 projects as I complete them Project 1 - for work at Castell Henllys Iron Age fort... "homework" but Bushcrafty... "Make a net from natural fibres" Due to the lack of opportunity to gather any more natural materials (lockdown limits my access!) I...

Happy online miserable in physical world

If you visit Tesco Cardigan then it may be that shop in particular! These days I am doing the shopping - my Missus being in a "vulnerable" group - and while Cardigan Aldi (my usual shopping local) was upbeat with chatty, friendly staff and reasonable clients, Cardigan Tesco (I forced to go there...

    Stick Making and Identification

Nice! I hate plastic varnish and use a mix of teak oil and Danish oil, finished with a beeswax and teak oil polish. At present I would use whatever you have handy....

Are we buying more or less stuff?

Most of what I buy is stuff to make stuff (either for sale or for my own use) or charity shop gold...

    corona virus projects any one?

It was fun doing it! I was taught by Chris Grace of South Wales Bushcrafters many years ago but this is the first net of any size that I have made. At least it justified the keeping of my four hand carved Netting Needles!

Happy online miserable in physical world

In Aldi (Cardigan) yesterday, everyone seemed quite cheerful - I find Tesco so miserable and the management so dire that I refuse to shop there at the best of times...

    corona virus projects any one?

Well - the net is finished ... mainly because I ran out of materials! About 4 meters long with wooden floats and lead sinkers - and between 800 and 1000 knots! I have also got a jacket cut out and ready to sew as well as "homework" projects from work...

Are we buying more or less stuff?

I have no electronic existence except for visiting a couple of websites - so no sales on line....

Are we buying more or less stuff?

Thinking about it - I am buying much more stuff than usual! Two cheap Casio watches - I guess I needed them as I could not read my usual watch without my glasses. Imagedude's Lundhag boots - I needed some new boots due to the demise of my favourite pair of 9.11 boots. Fabric for another jacket -...

    Exercise in covid-19 lockdown

I already do a 1 hour routine every morning using nothing but 5kg weights. I am replacing my usual 1 hour in the gym per week and daily 20min walks with daily 1 hour cycle rides (I live on top of a hill so that is trying!) and extra leg and arm exercises.

    corona virus projects any one?

Thanks for the thought :) - I had a good copy years ago... but sold it when times were hard (same time I sold my guns and sword collection... I will never see THE|M again).... times look like getting hard again soon...
