…..at being a bottle opener. The blade is‘nt wide enough for my liking. You can’t get a good push off with the left thumb because it’s too close to the angled edge. He should have put one on there as he did with the Wilkinson Sword MK1 Survival. If it’s going to be the most important tool used in bushcraft. It should perform the most important task in bushcraft :22:

There is a netter way, I'll see if I can find a vid. You twist the blade on the knuckle of the hand holding the bottle, quite safe, controlled and about 99% succesful.

You want the spine of the knife on the other side of the bottle and lever it off using the side of your hand as a fulcrum. In fact your lighter will be marginally better at it. But you can use pretty much anything.
