Anyone got any info on this pouch.
Bought from a charity shop, has no markings on the pouch but has KL95 and KL96 on the mess tins.

It’s an escape ration pouch, or a modern copy of. I think Kay Canvas make repro ones KL usually means Dutch. Are they stainless steel?

Looks like either an unused (unlikely) original or a more modern reproduction of the 1958 pattern SAS Dropped Escape and Evasion pouch. (Dropped because of the loops which attach it to the belt lower than standard 58 pattern pouches).

Mess tins are likely more modern reproduction.

The tins are non stick coated if that helps. Could be right about the copy as I had the real thing many moons ago, although this is smaller. The tins are a perfect fit and the pouch is lined.
Not bad then for £7.50.

I bought one of these pouches from Survival Aids back in the early 90’s as it was the pouch Lofty Wiseman used in his instructional videos and is fits the description in his book. I used it a bit as a youngster but eventually sold it 15 years later for about £50 as they were quite sort after. Survival Aids also sold the rest of the webbing rig all with the same drop pouches.

I have to say that if that's a genuine drop ration pouch rather than a newer copy then you've got a real bargain there! As has been mentioned they're really sought after and to get one in such good condition people would pay very good money.
