Thanks @gra_farmer thats certainly close to what I'm after I'm looking to commission it though, so rather than buy one that's already made, I'd like to work with the smith to have the knife (and custom leather) made I'll take a look more at Hellize though (does look like they've left).

I'm looking to get a custom handmade knife for my dad's 70th next year. I'd like a damascus patterned blade and a handmade sheath with some unique artwork on it. No need for a firesteel. Can anyone recommend a craftsperson who has an online portfolio of their work that I could take a look at...

Of all the ones I came across, WildElk seems quite a good brand, so good to hear someone else giving them a thumbs up [emoji106][emoji106] I'm after good quality at best price. I'm not looking to weave a hammock, but perhaps some stick handles and a few key rings etc Thanks for the advice :)...

Hey all, I'm looking to do some paracord projects, but I'm getting a bit lost in all the suppliers and was wondering if anyone has a preferred UK supplier who is good value? Looking for a variety of colours and not too bothered about whether it's 550 or MilTec, but want to check I'm not missing...

Just for a bit more of a chilled, camping kettle I saw a nice one on TV the other day on BBC's 'Pilgrimage with Simon Reeve' - Simple wood burning kettle, but great for a static camp. Plus it's hard to not enjoy the appeal of using wood fuel.

It seems the gas stove is certainly a great option, especially with the price of the fuel and the easy burner. This is a great selection to choose from, and I've certainly learned a bit more about the equipment out there. I'd say I'm set to buy!
