    I went out with my new ni patrol pack and had a shakedown with it then a short walk back. I found it hurt my shoulders a bit after a short walk but it's probably because I didn't use the waist belt

    Don't forget red cedar bark. Scrape with a sharp rock or the back of your knife to collect a fibrous bird nest. Drop an ember in there from cramp balls or plant down and add to your dry grass
