Need a bill hook, advice wanted

My wife is a primary school teacher and is just about to embark on training for Forest School. The school is paying for the course but not the equipment. There’s a huge list of recommended items. Of course most aren’t required immediately and I’ve some of the things already on the list. One...

    Weber GoAnywhere BBQ

Do love my Weber. Photo from Friday. After dining on lamb kebabs, chuck a few logs on and it’s a fire pit which doesn’t harm the grass. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Von Tempsky Bowie

Probably a few hundred if see something I particularly like but quite flexible. Just like them more as objects rather than functional tools where much cheaper options are available.

    Von Tempsky Bowie

Would really like a large Bowie that isn’t a display piece made in China. Wondering if anyone has a Von Tempsky, appreciate feedback from any owners.

    Hilleberg Akto or similar recommendations

I've finally gone with a Soulo. Bit on the heavy side but should cope ok with the welsh weather.

    Hilleberg Akto or similar recommendations

Thanks for the feedback. I've fancied an Akto for a while. A good second hand one would be my first choice. However the Scarp 1 does appear to get excellent reviews especially with the optional cross poles. Will do further research.

    Hilleberg Akto or similar recommendations

Hi, I tend to be a belt and braces sort of chap and looking for a robust 4 season tent. I've a Nallo 3 which is great for two but too heavy for single backpacking. The Akto used to be the go to 1 man tent but I'm well out of touch these days with so many options now available. Would welcome...

Mean and Green Breathable Waterproof Jacket

Hi, Tried a search but didn't come back with anything. Interested in M&G's new breathable waterproof jacket. Like the fact it has the olive option, packable hood, back vent and underarm zip vents. Price seems cheap (£40 plus p&p) for what it is. Hoping to get some feedback from anyone who's...

    Best bargain watches?

I've got some very expensive watches and some very cheap watches too. Enjoy them all. On the budget side of things, my Seiko Kinetic diver- BFK is excellent value for money and built like a tank. For a cheap auto the Vostok Amphibia is a good buy as are the Seiko 5's. My diy watch is a Casio G...

    DofE 3 man tent recommendation

Bought a Vango Meteor 300 2017 model last night for £100 split 3 ways between the parents. Hopefully given it's simplicity of 2 poles of equal length and sub 3kg it shouldn't be an issue to pitch and carry for three inexperienced teenage girls. Time will tell.

    DofE 3 man tent recommendation

That was a bargain. Wish I'd see it that cheap. Hoolie 3 is £199 on Blacks. Thanks for all your suggestions. Mistral looked a great buy but lack of privacy an issue unless could make windows opaque.
