I'm very happy that your tribe enjoyed it :) It was certainly great for me to see new people getting excited about our sport - If you want any advice about kit or clubs please drop us a line.
To all - if any of you discover that you have inadvertently put one of our tabs or bracers in your...
I thought that some of you might be interested in supporting local farmers by logging on to bigbarn.co.uk - it's a great site with a great idea. You can enter your post code to find out all of the places you can buy local produce in your area - farm shops etc'. Also if you register on the...
A great week end indeed, I didn't want to come away.
Particular thanks from me to everyone who helped me learn how to deal with the dead things and I'm really looking froward to trying a bamboo bow.
Hope you feel better soon Stuart.

Not the oldest tree in the country but a fabulous old Yew. Have a look at the picture. I'm just in it for scale.

There is some wind torn willow very near to my house, will have to grab some soon. I discovered last year that if you peel off the bark the surface of the wood goes a very rich red colour.
I have no idea if this colour stays and am not even sure of only one type of willow does it but I...
I also shoot an AFB and miss slightly less often than Rob but have also been relying on the cheap and strong Frosts Mora for a long time. Give it a go. : -l)
I seem to attract every biting insect insect within miles :-( so I bought a new product to try at the exhibition last weekend. According to the blurb Pete and Paddy of Quantock, Wilderness Survival Equipment (?) said " the most efficient product we've found over the years, even against the...
I wish we did have those, they sound like a great idea. In the real world we were just good boys and girls and cleaned them off before going back on the road. The folding down light guards were very useful in this.
Before and after photos from today's exploits at Slindon. It was a good site, managed to get stuck though  Had fun with the pressure washer when we got home too

Yes - a beautiful story. Thank you for reminding me of it, I haven't thought about in years and will have to dig it out and share it with Rob now.

Is anyone up for some green laning this spring/summer?
Rob and I would like to check out some of lanes in North Wales or the Peddars Way in Norfolk (I'm from Norfolk originally so I can speak the language  ).
It is always best to have more than one vehicle though and more fun so would...
I would love to come to a flint knapping gathering - especially intriguied by the idea of making arrow heads out of bottle bottoms. I also have a bag full of left flight feathers from Christmas turkeys if anyone wanted to make some complete arrows.

Can a make a plea for it to...
