    Myocardial Infarction?

Good luck, man. Cardiac doctors are serious people and don't take risks lightly. You'll be fine.

    Myocardial Infarction?

Steve is correct. If your artery is blocked then you are having a heart attack. If they don't do an emergency angioplasty, then you're not in immediate danger. Keep your GTN spray near though. I'm sure that you'll get your stent soon enough.

    Myocardial Infarction?

I've been watching this thread with some interest. Two years ago I had a MI with two arrests and an emergency stent. I'm not sure that anyone ever recovers from the emotional trauma. Of course, the doctors told me I should be more active, so I was, and went back camping with the gang within a...

    Huber's, Obenauf's or homemade leather boot treatment...hmmmm

Here's the scope: I've got a ton of odd soapers stuff lying around, and a fair amount of random bushcraft juice. Though I'm out of Neatsfoot oil, It's clear that I can get some pure oil easily. There's also Shea butter, Coconut butter and oil, Almond Oil, Tea tree oil and other random...

    Army surplus sleeping bags

Don't forget that either bag will be either much colder or much warmer depending on your sleep pad. I've used the British Arctic bag (which I consider to be one of the best pieces of kit I've ever owned,) in zero degree weather in the Uk and been very cold without a proper mat. Once one of the...

    Ernest Hemingway: "Camping Out" 1920

I ran across this while gathering some material for a journalism class that I teach at the local University. It seems as though Papa wrote a piece about camping for the Toronto Daily Star in 1920 that contains an interesting take on cooking Trout. I must say that after reading it I desperately...

    Ebay rod and strikers

This carbide scraper from Amazon for about £7 is the finest scraper I've ever used. Great handle, light weight, huge sparks. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Draper-76765-Tungsten-Carbide-Multi-Sharpener/dp/B00205QO6W/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1477685106&sr=8-2&keywords=carbide+sharpener

    Favorite ferro rod

While it would be easy to say that I use the back of my O1 knife as a striker ('cause I often do), the most reliable strikers for me have been: Back of an Opinel blade Back of SAK saw blade Carbide Paint Scraper blades...

    Stropping compound.

I wave my strop over the stove for a moment before rubbing Starky Blue on it. The stove warms the strop up enough to let the Blue melt on.
