Iv made my own crook knife from a old eating knife, with a 90 degrees curve at the end, I tried to make it similar to a pic that was in one of rays books, I think it was called bushcraft. thank for the help any way

We just purtused a japanies water stone and was wandering if when using a nugura stone if you need to put it one on the 6000 grit and the 1000 grit? P.S sorry for the rubbish spelling it isnt one of my strong points
