I'll just second what Spamel (and Warrigal)has said - all good advice:) . Most of all don't get upset about it. Knives are tools and do sometimes suffer a bit of wear and tear:o Depending on how bad it is give the maker a shout and see if he'll sort it - if not try one of the makers from here...

What every one else said ;) Roe-Fisher is one of the good guys, and he know's his knife stuff. The knife probably has a better, more even grind on it than the day it left the factory... :)

It's not as difficult as you probably think, Dom :) I think the BRKT's scales are epoxied and pinned. Put a pan of water on to boil. Wrap the blade in masking tape and then lay the handle end of the knife in the pan of boiling water for about 5 minutes. Remove the knife from the pan...

I'm very proud to say I received this knife from Mozzy yesterday. :) We had discussed various options for the knife a while ago, and the scale material became the last sticking point. I'm not a big fan of 'fancy' wood and as this is going to get used a lot I took a lot of pursuading to go...

Hi Halo, I bought one of SWC's knife kits a couple of months ago. Since I finished it, it's the only knife I've used :) . The instructions with it were clear and concise, the quality of the blade is excellent and despite it being my first full tang, I was able to produce a very nice knife...
