    Is this good bushcraft?

If its not a wind up then to me the event is just pointless . to do it better ? well sleeping bags cold miserable kids are no fun ? some old tarps garden canes , ropes and any non cut materials they can find for best 4 in a camp ! you would need some form of central event /camp fire /best skit/...

    Survival as a Hunter Gatherer

Think this would be very difficult if not impossible , without some form of fixed base and some basic abilities to store or preserve foods The landscape is to degraded / changed from the naturel . however it would be easier if you could take advantage of the modern wastefull society we now live in

Grand father arrested for carrying a knife

I thought the law on this was well known , so I cannot understand taking a knife into a court. I have always understood a public place to be a place where the public are admited even if its for a fee , so basicaly anywhere except your own property or private property to which you have been...

What to do, What to do???

Why should the goverment be suprised at the level of knife / gun crime ? we have "allowed people from the four corners of the world to live together in very close proximity often as neibours yet they cannot live together in there own countries of origin or indeed in the rest of the world...

    Holly does the splits

I would think the spring would be the worst time to cut wood for drying , even holly I would cut in winter and let it dry as said in a cool place bark on , and dont snett the side shoots off till required

    'Buy Your Own Wood'

Do you activly cut/ thin or coppice your woods ie activly manage them to produce a sustainable supply of timber and create a variety of evolving habitats .

    'Buy Your Own Wood'

I do wonder if its in the woods best intrest to be owned in this manor , each wood should not only be enjoyed but should be worked for its keep to produce good quality timber on a regular bais ie correctly managed , and everyone will have a different stratergy for a given wood .

    Disgusted

opps forgot to say the badge is a "centre or club badge " which each area within the caravan club has ie south London , East surrey , etc

    Disgusted

Hi Think this is possibly either a "stolen " caravan thats been stripped for the ali skin and parts or one simply past its sell buy date . If you send a picture of the badge to the caravan club they will possibly be able to indentify the area from which it originaly came from , any makers marks...

    Little egret

Hi yes was walking the hayling billy trail on Hayling island . what also amazes me is the large noz of rabbits that just graze all day on the slopes above the old oyster beds . Just as pity that you get the traffic roar bouncing back from the hills from the A27 still a nice day out and quiet...

    Little egret

Spent a couple of hours today having a wonder around the Hampshire coast and estury . I spent sometime watching what I think was a pair of little egrets looking like a small white heron about 20" high or so . Yet my book seems to think these are quite rare so is there anything i could have...

This is really taking the mickey!!!!!!

But somthing is only worth what someone will pay for it ? the fact that has not been sold can mean that its just not worth that much and the only true way to find its value would be to auction it off . Whilst I think the one valued at £1450 was sold at auction for charity for £1300to this seller
