    Suffolk Bushcraft Group 2 Night Monthly Meeting 6th & 7th June 2014

Big sad face. I'm not going to make this one. We get the keys to our new house on Friday and we have to be out of this house on Monday. We were hoping our land lady was going to let us stay an extra week but she is eager to sell the house. Stu - I really need to get these pots back to you, or...

    Suffolk Bushcraft Group 2 Night Monthly Meeting 6th & 7th June 2014

You found it. Should be an interesting meet. As you can see there is going to be a bit of construction going on. We are going to build an A frame shelter. (I use the term 'We' very loosely). You'll enjoy it. It's a lovely bit of woods. Just be mindful of what your packing. If it carries on...

Would you like a bit of leather? I've got a belt in the scraps bag. I've made a couple of strops and there is about 8 inches left.

I bought this metal bin at the boot sale a few months ago. I planned to turn it in to an incinerator but never got round to it. I'm moving out soon and it needs a new home. Would the group be able to make use of it?

SAK trail master serrated edge removal?

I've done one. Just use the same action as you would to sharpen your knife but with a really low grit until the serrations are all gone. Took me about 15mins to do this then another 30mins to smarten it up and sharpen the scratches out. Much easier on a diamond stone, but it will work.

    Leatherman Warranty

I hear lots of stories like this about leatherman. That's why I was happy to pay £130 for my charge. Yes it's expensive, but that's only £5.20 per year if you take the warrenty in to consideration. I'm glad you got a new one. It's always nice to get something replaced like that.
