    Thanks andybysea :) are the shoes you find 'righties' :) as there is a place in Texel Holland where they find all the lefties :) Love to see some of your pics of toys and stuff :o many a dismembered doll washes up on our shores :)

    Wales have had the carrier bag tax since 2011 and it has made a huge difference to the amount I find washing up, England is not far behind I hope but people are becoming much more aware already :) We all need to be a little less selfish about 'single' use plastic to make a difference...

    In fifty to a hundred years time I totally agree mountainm :) Norway recycles plastic by burning it and using it as energy, in fact they now buy other countries waste plastic to burn as it doesn't have enough... We may well be digging up our own landfill sites for the same purpose at...

    Apparently scientists have already named it Toddy as Plastiglomerate rock... I find loads and loads of these heavily disguised as 'pebbles' on the beach... The only thing that gives them away sometimes is their colour...

    Thanks Dreadhead and hiho :) As Freshwater West faces West it gets a direct flow from the Atlantic and all that is in it depending on the sea state, wind and storm direction. A lot of what I find I reckon has been stuck in the sand for years and years and was washed out during the winter...

    Don't go there :cool: I am so aware of the ultimate beach combing treasure in glass floats... lol... But do you have any Lego from the 1997 container spill that contained aqua themed lego ???? lol... from the top left a Lego flipper, Lego flowers, a Lego spear gun, a Lego life...

    No problem at all Whittler Kev :) This pattern will make a tree 6"x6" and if you want to thread it with one continuous piece of rope you will need approx 3.5metres I hope this helps :)

    I've seen the pics Robson Valley, there is even a chap whose page I follow that has set up a museum for the amount and variety of stuff that he finds, soooo amazing and yet so sad.... Sadly the beaches can't clean themselves, so every bag full that you remove you hope will make a difference to...

    Thanks Toddy and believe it or not I have found an Urn complete with ashes !!!! I left it where it was as it was high up the beach and no harm for now. I bet she find the remains of plastic flower wreaths as well, although after posting about what I find I have been pleasantly surprised twice...

    Thanks whale-omelette :) Sure it's Beachcombing Freshwater West ... I'd love to know what type of 'stuff' you find :) I discovered so much my friends now say I'm a walking beach rubbish encyclopaedia lol... Although there is still so much to learn :confused:
