Sorry to hear about your woes :(. Could it be dampness that's the problem? I lived in a damp flat and it played havoc with my asthma. A dehumidifier made a lot of difference and when I moved out it disappeared completely. I think that it's something to do with mould spores.

Cleaning the inside with a handful of wet sand works wonders.

My missus wears one around the house in the winter. Saves a ton on heating. Maybe the government should be dishing them out to save on the winter heating allowance.
