I take it that it's not seen much active use?
I've put a fairly large handle on my 3lb head. I'll give it a go at trimming some limbs of a recently felled tree later to see how it holds up. Being lighter than my felling axes, it should at least allow for longer usage.
I've seen varying comments on Faithful handles; they don't seem to come with wedges, so that needs to be considered with the price.
I'll be buying online so difficult to check grain.

Otherwise it should may a good kindling axe, or I may try carving.
