A homemade meths cooker. Following equipment required:
A metal tin. I used an empty hair wax tin with a lid.
A bit of loft insulation which fills the tin.
A flour seive. Cut to +1in bigger diameter of your tin.
A bottle of meths.
A lighter.

The medium alice is too small and the large Alice is just too well, large! The external frame is heavy and cumbersome as well. I've tried both.

With a main pack size of 55 ltrs. Three external pockets each of a size to fit a 3x3m tarp. I'm thinking olive drab cordura. Budget £130.

Agreed. I found my bearing block on a pebble beach. By sheer fluke I picked it up and it goes in my pocket with a hank of paracord if I'm feeling nostalgic for a bow brill set fire!
