Not so much room as weight. My JX-Pro grinder weighs 780 grams, add beans (50g) and an Aeropress Go (300g) and thats 1.1kg. A trips worth of Nescafe and sugar mixed together is <100g all in :) .
As someone who grinds and makes their own espresso at home, if I am car-camping with family its either an aeropress or mokka pot depending on the facilities available, if I am camping outside of campsites then its Nescafe Gold instant.
I suppose the question now is do I get the 30L with 2x Side Pockets or do I get the 45L?
I suppose 45L is a tad too large for climbing Ben Nevis unless its winter....
Sorry to hijack the thread but I was wondering if anyone knew how the Berghaus Centurio 30 compares to the Munro in terms of size and quality. I was looking at getting the Centurio 30 with 2x 10L side pockets for going to and setting up camp and then using just the rucksack for climbing / day hikes.
Suunto M-3 G arrived a few days ago and I have played around with it a little. The needle is the of the newer plastic version but it appears to work perfectly without sticking or stuttering. Build quality is excellent the bezel is super smooth to turn.
As per a comment on another thread I did...
Does anyone know what the difference is between the Silva Ranger series and the Epedition series?
Is it just that the Ranger series have less features?
My Suunto M-3 G should be arriving in a few days and hopefully I'll be able some practice in. I'll post an update once I receive it.
From what I can understand a compass with a mirror allows for more precise navigation?
