    I think I bought 8 sticks for about £3 including postage from eBay so quite happy with that price, maybe vasoline and cotton wool would be about £1 to £1.50 ish but not that much more expensive...

    A good wood I've found out about recently but seems everyone else knows about is Maya Sticks or Fat Wood.... Resin filled Pine wood from chopped down pine trees... not sure how hot it burns but easy to light because of all the resin in it... Regards Dave.
